Samsung Unlock
How SIM Lock is Removed

Majority of mobile devices in the market can be unlocked with SIM network Unlock PIN Code. When you insert a SIM card from another carrier (mobile operator) into your phone, it usually asks you to enter the SIM network Unlock (PIN, Key .etc) Code. If you have the valid code and enter it on the phone, it will be unlocked permanently.

Some US Carriers offer special mobile device applications to unlock devices remotely. Unlocking can be done through the mobile application. Devices locked using the Unlock App are unlocked by updating the Carrier database.

The phone's SIM lock status is updated as Unlocked in carrier/manufacturer database and the application unlocks itself by confirming status from the database over the Internet.

SIM unlocking Samsung phones is usually an easy process. Phones sold by some USA Carriers may require little bit effort. If your phone is locked to one of the USA carriers, we recommend that you visit the carrier unlock instructions page for more detailed information.

AT&T Wireless | Sprint | Tracfone | T-Mobile | Verizon Wireless

First insert a SIM card into your phone and check the message on the screen.

If your phone asks for SIM Network Unlock PIN, the code you need is Network Unlock Code (NCK or Network Control Key). If your phone is asking for a Service Provider Unlock PIN, the code you need is the Service Provider Unlock Code (SPCK or Service Provider Control Key).

If you have ordered unlock codes on our site, we will show you which codes we can provide at the time of ordering. In this way, you can get the code you need and unlock your phone easily.

If you enter too many invalid codes on your phone, this will reset the code entry counter of your phone and it will ask you to enter the MCK (Master Reset Key) code (We can provide this code with most of our services).

To give a brief information about MCK, Samsung Phones have a code entry counter and allow you to enter the valid code 10 times. If you enter an incorrect network or service provider code 10 times in a row, your phone's code counter will be reset and will no longer allow you to enter the code. Even if you obtain and enter a valid NCK (SIM Network Unlock PIN) code at this stage, your phone will not accept this code and will ask you to enter an MCK (Master Reset Key) code.

How to Enter Samsung Unlock Codes:

Insert a SIM card from another carrier (provider) into your phone and power on your phone. On SIM Locked phones, your phone will ask you to enter a SIM Network Unlock PIN or Service Provider Unlock PIN. If Network Unlock PIN code is asked, type this code on your phone's keyboard and press OK. Your phone will permanently unlocked and will no longer ask you to enter this code.

If the Service Provider PIN code is asked, enter the SPCK code in the same way, tab the Ok key and complete the process.

If your phone asks you to enter MCK or Master Reset Key code, enter the MCK code and click OK. At this stage, you may receive a network unlock uncessfull message, but don't worry, even if you enter the correct MCK, the phone may show this message. After entering the code, your Phone will ask you to re-enter the NCK (SIM network unlock PIN). Enter the NCK (network unlock code) and your phone will unlock permanently.

If you encounter problems while entering the MCK or your phone does not accept the code, you can solve the problem by performing a Master Factory Reset (Full Factory Reset) after backing up the data on your phone. Master Factory reset solves almost all of the problems that occur in code entry.

Difference Between Samsung SIM Network Unlock PIN and SIM Card PIN

This code can sometimes be confused with the 4 digit SIM card PIN code. The reason for this confusion is due to the different naming of the network unlock codes. The way to clear this confusion is to check if the code belongs to the device or SIM card.

Samsung SIM Network Unlock PIN removes the SIM lock of the phone and allows it to be used with other carriers.

This code is randomly generated during the prudction and programmed into the device. In cases where the SIM unlock of the phone is required, it is entered into the device and the device checks whether the code is correct. If the correct code is entered, the device is unlocked permanently and no longer checks whether SIM cards of other carriers are allowed. After entering the code, SIM cards of all carriers can be used with the device.

4 Digit SIM Card PIN (Personal Identification Number) belongs to the SIM card and is stored on the SIM card. It only grants access to the SIM card. if enabled, it verifies that you are authorized to use the SIM card. If SIM Card PIN code activated, it will ask you to enter this code every time on every phone. It doesn't matter if the phone is locked or not because it's a phone-independent code.

8 or 16 Digit SIM Network Unlock PIN belongs to the device and is stored in the device. If activated by Carrier, SIM cards provided by this Carrier will work and other Carrier's cards will not work on the phone. If you want to use the phone with other Carrier's SIM cards, you need to enter this code on the phone when prompted.
